But what is Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga?
Traditional, thousands of years of yoga system. Did you know that all power yoga and dynamic flow yoga (so any form of movement that requires effort, focus and determination) originated from this trend?
The peculiarity of Ashtanga is the bound series: we always practice the same asanas in the same order... and never become boring... the great advantage of bound sequences compared to flow watches is that progress is felt and seen earlier!
During this hour, the practice is continuous, unstoppable, and the rhythm is given by the ujaiĂ breath. This breathing technique helps to calm the mind, as well as the driving of the eye (dristi). All of this triggers the flow of prana in the body, and if the elements merge, the practice becomes a moving meditation.
