Cotton Club Singers, Hofi 90, Swing Up! The 90th anniversary concert of Géza Hofi 04.25.Szeged IH Event Centre
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the legendary comedian, actor and singer Géza Hofi, Cotton Club Singers conjures one of the greatest figures of Hungarian entertainment with a special concert. On 26 May, the Budapest Congress Center awaits the audience, where the musical momentum of the swing and the eternal humor of Géza Hofi meet.
The premiere of this concert will be held at the IH Event Centre in Szeged on 04.25.
Hungary's best-known vocal team returns in an impressive form this time: with Cotton Club Band and Brass, the five leading singers of the formation will be on the stage. Kozma Orsi, Szűcs Gabi, Zsédenyi Adrienn, László Boldizsár and Fehér Gábor will be the music director of the concert and one of the stars' guests is Géza Hofi, former permanent music director, Miklós Malek. Transcriptions inspired by the most popular songs and parodys of Géza Hofi will be heard during the evening, while the audience will be able to participate in a dynamic journey full of humor and music on the life path of the legendary artist. Not only a tribute to an icon, but also a real celebration: the evening of music, humor and common memory, which reflects the spirit of Géza Hofi.
