The organizers of the conference will wait until 15 December 2025 for the work address of the planned 20-minute lectures and a summary of the 1000,1500 knocks to rebakucs2026@gmail.com. The proposals received shall be notified by 31 January 2026.

The Renaissance Department of ELTE HTK Literature Research Institute, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Szeged, its Institute of Hungarian Literature and Department of Classical Philology and Neolatin, in cooperation with the former Hungarian Literature Departments of Hungarian and Cross-border Universities and other professional workshops interested in researching the period 2026. The annual conference will be held in Szeged between 27 and 30 May:

The title and calling word of the conference, Mohács500, indicate that the event fits into the anniversary program's range, and expresses that the main purpose of the conference is to examine how the historical situation, which disrupts past relations and proves to be permanent, has made our ancestors increasingly sensitive to historical genres in the next century and in the next century and a half. (in some contexts, 18th-century literature is related to this tragic and gravely contradictory historical age.
