The duo of Aba Zsuffa and Ákos Vörös, or Analog Balaton, was formed in Budapest in 2017. They are regarded as one of the most exciting orchestras in the country, as well as as as the opening act of Bonobo, Weval and Bob Moses. Their career development is unique in many ways. They have not yet recorded songs, when they have already given full live-act parties throughout the country. Analog Balaton, who is increasingly advanced from Hungarian underground circles, finally released his first album in 2021. The nine materials, called "Lent," remained faithful to the initial improvisational, monotonous electronics, while being characterized by a very strong text-centricity. The album is a story of broken evenings, lonesome mornings, and lonely sorrows, and the sincere lines immediately came to fruition, and it was an undivided success among both the profession and the audience. The album debuted almost in front of a full house at the Aquarium Great Hall, and their 38 boat concert ran out of tickets long before the announced date. In 2022 there was no festival without Analog Balaton, and in the same year their next single landed on it with the same contributors as Csaba Szendrői (Elefánt) or 6363 (Gege). In the same year, the Electronic Performer of the Year was awarded the award for their outstanding work on electronic music. Aba Zsuffa and Ákos Vörös didn't slow down in 2023 either, after their country-going tour, they performed at the biggest outdoor nightclub in the country, in Budapest Park, on András Hajós Dalfutár, and at the end of the year they won the Music Hungary Showtime Award, with a double-filled Aquarium Nagyhall concert. Since then, the album Cracking has been released, followed by a sold-out record presentation at Barba Negra. The year was closed with a double sold-out concert in the House of Hungarian Music. The year 2025 was also exciting for the Duo of Analog Balaton, who were active not only in Budapest Park, but also at the biggest festivals, while bringing new sounds and feelings to their audience.
